The announcement of a new app from Facebook can be met less than enthusiastically due to the slew of failed apps Facebook has pushed out. However, Hyperlapse from Instagram is a diamond in the rough, privacy-concerning ground of Facebook. Essentially, the app allows you to create time-lapse videos and encourages you to share them to Instagram. You might be thinking, “I’ve done these before. But they always turn out so shaky.” Hyperlapse claims their software will enhance your footage, stating “…your footage will be instantly stabilized to smooth out the bumps from the road and give it a cinematic feeling.” If you’re like me, you’ll smile at the fact that you don’t need an Instagram account to make the videos. Tap the check at the upper right to save or tap the x at the upper left to cancel. After saving, you can either share to Facebook or Instagram or make a new one. Highlights and features: Hyperlapse bring a simple and easy interface, allowing you to make your time-lapse video, save it, and then quickly start making another. The ability to make these videos without an Instagram account is a highlight, as well as the ability to change the speed of your time-lapse to your liking. It might be too simple for some but I’m sure Instagram will add some additional features in the future. It’s available only on IOS for now for free. Allowing for creative ways to show off your great life and scenery with friends and to the world, Hyperlapse is a fun addition to your hom
