October 2013: College Visits

All throughout October and the rest of 2013 colleges will be visiting Monarch to talk with students. Cornell, CU Boulder, Yale, UC Davis, the Navy, and countless other universities and organizations will be available to answer questions and discuss any college questions students have.  10/9 Out of State College Fair

The college fair is being held at Monarch High School from 6:30-8:30pm and is a great way to discover, research, and connect with colleges no matter where you are in the process of applications.

 11/1 Early Application Deadlines

Many colleges have their early action and early decision deadlines on or near November 1st. Be sure to keep track of deadlines and due dates for the schools you’re applying to.

 11/20 Financial Aid Night

Financial aid night held at Monarch High School for current MOHI seniors who need assistance or guidance with finding and applying for financial aid.

January 2014: College Application Deadlines

The majority of universities have their regular application deadlines in early to mid-January so be sure you know these dates and don’t miss them.

February 2014: Financial Aid Deadlines

Financial aid and other special service deadlines often fall in the month of February. Be sure that you have college applications wrapped up in a timely manner so you can start on these as soon as possible.
