The set is coming together and rehearsals have begun. Many hours are being spent painting the final touches on the backgrounds and sewing the last stitches onto the costumes. Down in the theater hall, the thespians are planning another great performance.
This year’s theater theme is Roald Dahl. The musical will be Matilda and the fall play is The Twits and James and the Giant Peach. The shows are on October 5th, 6th, and 7th. Theater officer Anna Claire Jones ‘25 is ready to take it on.
“We’re gonna be able to do a lot of cool stuff with the theme this year,” Jones said.
Jones is excited for the performances, and hopes to reach a broader audience than ever.
“I would love for people to bring their kids because kids would love it!” Jones said, “Come support the theater department!”
