The TV show Friends is my Roman Empire. It’s truly one of my favorite shows of all time. My family are all huge fans of it; my parents have been watching and rewatching it since it came out in 1994. I remember the first time I watched the show and I couldn’t stop laughing at all of the iconic and hilarious lines, like when Joey said “Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good!” The diversity of the characters’ personalities also spoke to me. With Chandler’s sarcasm, Monica’s obsessiveness, and Joey’s perpetual confusion, there’s a character everyone can relate to. As the seasons progress, the show gets better and better and more addictive. I’ll never forget how much I cried when I finished watching it. Friends will always be my comfort show.
