PHOTOS: Valor Christian Invitational Track Meet

On a sunny Saturday afternoon on March 14th Monarch’s track and field team competed in the Valor Christian Invitational track meet at Valor Christian high school. Senior Andrew Barlow won the boy’s pole vault, jumping a height of 5 feet 4 inches. Senior Elissa Mann won the 800 meter with a time of 2:17.21. Other showings from Monarch included a third place for sophomore Isaac Green in both the high jump and 800 meter, a fourth place finish in the 1600 meter for sophomore Holly Bent and senior Fred Austin, a fifth palce finish in the 200 meter for junior Paige Overcash, and the girl’s 4X400 team finished second.
