Lily Simonsen (10) began gymnastics at a young age, and it was her main sport until one day, she tried volleyball, and realized how much she loved it. After some time, she decided that volleyball was her passion and began to pursue it more, eventually choosing it over gymnastics.  

“I miss it,” Simonsen said, “but I like volleyball much better.”

Today, Simonsen loves volleyball just as much and plays every day. She has been playing with VC Denver for two years and with the Monarch team for one, and enjoys playing with both teams. 

“I only see my club friends at Club, Simonsen said. “But ith school volleyball, I have classes with all my friends.”
