For Fox Therond (11), art is more than just a paintbrush and a palette; it’s an escape. A light at the end of the tunnel.

Fox decided to change their discouragement and melancholia into courage. Fox said, “I need to do something with my life so I don’t feel like this anymore,” they said. “So I was like, I’m gonna start a small business where I have, like, a sense of purpose in my life.”

That spark led to something tangible. Imagination turned into empowerment. Their hard work eventually paid off, Fox said, “Like, I’ve made, like, around a little more than 1000 because I recently did a market. It was like a three hour market, and I made like, $300 so that’s cool”.

Art was the solution to dark times. Their one leap of faith, changed everything.
